How it works

A correction with sources, end to end.

1. 01

   Post anything

   Posts are short, 500 characters max, text + images. Opinions, takes, jokes, all fine.

2. 02

   Anyone can flag

   Click the flag on a post or comment and write a reason. It enters the moderator queue.

3. 03

   A moderator reviews

   The moderator checks the claim against external sources. Flags are either upheld or dismissed. Opinions and hot takes get dismissed by default.

4. 04

   Upheld becomes a public correction

   If upheld, the post gets a correction up top with the moderator's verdict and sources. The original sits below behind a 'show original' toggle.

5. 05

   The record is permanent

   Every pin is listed at /u/<username>/record with full sources. The record never empties, that's the accountability layer.

6. 06

   Appeal anytime

   If you can produce counter-sources that disprove the pin, the moderator removes it and the record is annotated with the reversal.

7. 07

   Bad-faith repeats trigger the ladder

   Honest mistake? Pin only, you stay. Repeated deliberate misinformation, brigading or flag-abuse? Warning, post limit, suspension, ban, in that order.
